Must visit. Timings 10 am to 4 pm. The drive to this place is just wonderful. No phone network. The water is clean and clear. You can watch the waterfall from a distance but also half the way there is a closed entry downward which will take you to the water, it's not allowed but people are going, so with proper safety measures you can try going there. A lot of stairs are there to go down and then climb back to the parking lot. Parking available but only for very few vehicles. Need to pay for the entry.
It’s beautiful place and water fall.. it has around 300 steps and took overall 40 minutes to climb down and up.. make sure you buy ticket as you exit from kudrekumkha forest, officer will ask about the delay.
Quite a nice waterfall on the kuduremukh road. Very quiet and unnoticeable. Entry was closed at 7am but there is a way through a broken fence. Toilet facilities are available and a steep way with more than 200 steps is there to the falls. Not many visitors were there when I went, less than 10. If you go early in the morning it could be very refreshing and very private
Hanumana Gundi falls located in Kudremukh national park via kalasa - sk border road.
Visiting the falls has been resumed by the forest department after 5-6 years.
There is an entry fee of 50 INR, 400 INR for forgiers and 25 INR for childrens.
Good parking and well maintained washroom.
Note: getting into the waterfall or playing is restricted
Visiting time 10 am to 4 pm
Second visit after 18 years and they have restricted the entry/view to only small portion of the falls. Previously we could get down and feel the falls, spend time sitting on the rocks.
Place is good but not allowed to enter the waters. There is very limited space to enjoy the view. It takes around 250 steep stairs to reach place. Ticket chanrges ₹50 per head and additional ₹30 for car parking. No food is available nearby
Have to climb down for about 15 minutes. There are stairs but it's steep. There's railings to hold. It's forbidden to enter the water but since we went in the summer they allow us to go down and enjoy. It was a great experience though a must for all nature lovers
Fairly okay falls, not too much water. You can only view but not bathe in the falls. There are 250 steps that go down to the falls.
